For over 60 years, Kim Holman’s Rummer Yawl Class design has quite rightly been held in high regard as a paragon of all-round near perfection in a handy-sized classic cruiser-racer, yet this was only his third design. Early racing success and excellent press reviews ensured not only the class’s success, but also the designer’s. This, the original RUMMER, beautifully built by Whisstock’s for Holman himself, has remained one of those yachts that catches the imagination.
